A smoother start

From delivery to day one—and beyond.

We coordinate the local details that can slow a new hire down: equipment delivery, paperwork, employment-cost planning, and getting the employee set up.

01

Understand your requirements

We learn about your roles, timeline, equipment, and employee-support needs.

02

Receive and prepare equipment

We coordinate receipt, shipment inspection, inventory records, and employee delivery based on the agreed service.

03

Bring paperwork to the employee

Where permitted, we coordinate at-home signing and arrange printed copies and access to digital records.

04

Keep costs and support organized

We provide agreed billing detail for approved expenses and coordinate ongoing local support, including optional backup-power installation.

Why we're building IslaWork

Cross-border work needs more than a remote contact.

When a company hires in another country, the hard parts are often the practical details: getting equipment into the right hands, coordinating paperwork, answering local questions, and keeping everyone informed.

IslaWork is being developed around that gap—with a focus on local execution, clear communication, and a better experience for both the client and the employee.

01
Local-first execution

Make practical tasks easier to coordinate on the ground.

02
Clear ownership

Give each task a status, responsible person, and next step.

03
Responsible foundations

Confirm legal, employment, data, and operating requirements before services go live.

iTHE ISLAWORK APPROACH

One coordinated experience.

Designed to bring together employment coordination, local logistics, employee support, and clear cost visibility.

Why IslaWork

Built to take work off your plate.

One coordinated local operation for the practical tasks that are difficult to manage from another country.

01

Equipment handled locally

Receive, inspect, document, and deliver approved equipment through a planned local process.

02

Fewer unnecessary errands

Coordinate paperwork at home when appropriate, and plan employee records so people can access their documents.

03

Clear costs and reconciliation

Approved advances, billing-cycle charges, and applicable reserves are intended to be documented and reconciled transparently.

Service commitments, employment arrangements, and available capabilities will be confirmed with each client before launch. No testimonials or performance claims are published until verified.

Questions, answered

What to know before you start.

A few common questions about building a team in the Dominican Republic.

Can IslaWork receive and deliver equipment to our employees?

That is a core part of the planned service. Subject to the final receiving arrangement and agreed coverage, IslaWork would receive approved equipment, inspect and document it, and coordinate delivery to the employee. Eligible costs may be advanced and itemized on the agreed billing cycle.

Can employees sign paperwork without traveling to an office?

Where the document and applicable rules allow, IslaWork can coordinate delivery and signing at the employee's home. The process can include a printed copy for the employee and digital access through a planned, secure employee profile. Some documents may require a different signing process.

How will mandatory employment costs be handled?

IslaWork plans to help clients budget for and coordinate applicable obligations, which may include 13th-month salary, taxes, social contributions, and potential termination-related liabilities. Exact obligations, timing, funding method, and responsibilities will be confirmed with local HR and legal professionals before launch.

What happens to unused funds set aside for potential severance?

Subject to the final contract and legal/accounting treatment, unused client-funded reserves may be reconciled after an employee's departure and either returned or credited to a future invoice. Amounts legally owed to the employee must be paid as required.

Can IslaWork arrange an inverter and backup power?

An optional service is being planned to coordinate a backup-power system, including equipment and local installation. Scope, suitability, warranty, maintenance, safety requirements, upfront funding, and billing terms would be agreed before installation.

Will one IslaWork invoice cover every possible cost?

The goal is to make costs predictable and easy to manage through a clear billing cycle. Each engagement will define included services, pass-through expenses, employment obligations, approved advances, and exclusions in writing. No provider can guarantee that no unexpected or legally required costs will ever arise.

Are these services available now?

IslaWork is developing its operating model. Services will be offered only after the required legal structure, registrations, contracts, secure recordkeeping, local partners, and operational procedures are confirmed.
